I am running to be a Full-Time public servant of the
people of Valparaiso.
I feel that no elected official should use his or her
position for personal or financial gain. When an office holder is anything other than full-time,
it becomes more difficult to take the office as seriously as it should be and easy to turn it into
source of personal benefit.
I have been in the service business my entire life, from paperboy to burger & fry
guy, all the way up to full time business owner and City Councilman. Now I wish to serve the people of
this great City of Valparaiso as Mayor.
As your Mayor, I will not hire other people to do MY JOB!! I will
require all other city employees to serve to all the citizens in the same manner.
In keeping with my commitment to service, my campaign committee is only accepting contributions
of $100.00 or less to fund my campaign. No large
donations from special interest groups (trying to buy influence with
my office) will be accepted. |
Valparaiso, you always have been and always will be a GREAT city to be a
part of. We must not lose our identity by allowing a few ambitious power brokers to control our direction.
We must be proud of what we are and take pride in the community that we have and will continue to build together.
Please ** VOTE ** for me in the General Election in November 2011.
